Providing Care for People, Not Profit

We are more than a hospital — we are a movement of compassion, working every day to protect sight, restore smiles, and improve quality of life for families across Nigeria.
At St. Modestus Mission Hospital Eye & Dental Centre, we believe that quality healthcare is a right — not a privilege.
Founded by the Blindness Prevention and Rehabilitation Foundation, our mission is to champion a blindness-free Nigeria and ensure that no one suffers from preventable vision or dental problems due to cost or access.
Our Story
St. Modestus Mission Hospital began as a humble outreach, driven by faith and the desire to serve those who could not afford care.
Over the years, that small act of service has grown into a multi-branch charitable, not-for-profit healthcare network with clinics in Igando, Kirikiri, Festac, Satellite Town, and Imo State.
Since 2019, we’ve provided compassionate eye and dental care to more than 13,858 patients, from children to the elderly — restoring vision, preventing blindness, and improving oral health.
Our Core Values
At the heart of everything we do are the values that guide our service and define our impact:
Compassion: We treat every patient with empathy, respect, and kindness.
Excellence: We uphold the highest standards of care, combining modern technology with medical expertise.
Integrity: We maintain transparency and honesty in every decision and interaction.
Service: We exist to serve — putting people above profit in everything we do.
Our Mission
To provide affordable, accessible, and compassionate healthcare, especially for the underserved — with a special focus on blindness prevention, dental health, and rehabilitation.
Our Vision
A Nigeria where no one goes blind needlessly or suffers from preventable dental disease.
